This picture was taken about a month ago and she looks a lot older now, but I thought that it was too cute to not show it off.
What a cute little kitty cat!
Sharing her playmat with Noah. Aubrey loves her playmat! She'll lay on it for a while at a time and play with the toys dangling from it.
Aubrey is now six months old and the past months have really seemed to fly by. She had her appointment today and had to get 5 shots plus drink something. She's gotten to that age where she looks at my with eyes that say, "Why Momma? Why is that mean old nurse doing this to me?" Everything else about the check-up went really well. She is about a month behind on some developments, but right on schedule with others. Her measurements are: Length - 26 inches (50-75%), Weight - 13.8 lbs (15%), and Head Circumference - 17 1/2 inches (90-95%!!). The doctor is still watching her head growth and her soft spot so we'll go back in a month for another check-up.
Aubrey is really starting to notice when other people talk and turning to face them. She's also really clinging to me and will sometimes stop crying when I take her from someone else. She has been eating some rice and bananas since about Christmas time and we just started some peas and green beans a few weeks ago. She loves to eat. She opens her mouth for more and she'll even open her mouth when I'm eating something. And this is what she looks like when you stop feeding her for a second...
Not so cute, right?
Aubrey was sleeping through the night about a month ago, but lately she's wanting to nurse every three hours and then lay in her bed (which is still in our room) and talk for a while before she goes back to sleep. She usually goes back to sleep really good around 5:45 or 6:00 and then my alarm goes off at 6:30. I have really started to feel the effects of lack of sleep lately!
This past weekend we went to Memphis to visit my Aunt Marcy and celebrate her birthday, my birthday, Kaylee's birthday, Micah's birthday, and Noah's upcoming birthday. We pretty much sat around the house and relaxed, but we did go to the zoo on our way out of town. Here are some pictures of the wild animals.

Aubrey has gotten so big! Glad you are all doing well.
Omigosh, that pic of her crying is hilarious! LA looks like that when I attempt to put food in her - she hates the yucky stuff! lol! So glad she's doing so well with her growth - she's adorable!
I think the one of her in the kitty cat hat looks like Kaylee!
OK, good. I was hoping you found the pics on my blog (I didn't think you would mind). Did my mom get you the link to the rest of them on Snapfish? There are a few more pics of the girls that I took that day. I didn't know your email, so I sent them to my mom, to send to yours, to send to you. Got that?, ha.
Oops, one more thing. The ones on Snapfish (or Shutterfly, I can't remember what I used) are saved at a much higher resolution than the ones on my blog so that you can print them or resize them if you want.
